How the Waterbuck got its white ring

(A Guide´s story)

A while back we were renovating the lodge and when we were finished with the ablution facility the one afternoon, we told all the animals that were helping that they should not use the facility until the paint has had time to dry.

Waterbuck was not there as usual as they were playing in the river nearby, so they did not get the message and later that evening they went and used the toilets and the wet paint from the toilet seat left a ring on their bottoms.

(Another Guide´s story)

The Waterbuck was one of the first animals to climb onto Noah’s Ark. They are well-known for drinking a lot and were therefore the first to use the toilet on the long journey. The newly-installed toilet seats on the Ark were still wet with paint and left a distinctive white ring for everyone to see.
