After that exciting night alone at the campsite and a good porridge for breakfast, I decided to walk to the next lodge, which is about 1.2 km.
200 metres later, when I left the path to my camp and came to a bigger “road”, I stumbled over those fresh white rhino tracks and a rhino dung midden. I followed the tracks slowly – not not accidentally run into the actual animal – along the road but they eventually turned and left the road. Would have been awesome to see it, but I still have some days 🙂
Went for a coffee with view instead at the Waterberg Plateau Lodge where I sat for over an hour and simply enjoyed being here.
